Save the date: Evidence and Implementation Summit, Sydney, 2020
We are delighted to announce that CEI and Monash University will co-host the Evidence and Implementation Summit 2020 (EIS 2020) in Sydney next year from October 21-22.
The inaugural Australasian Implementation Conference was held in Melbourne in 2012, and since then has established itself as a key biennial event in this field in the Asia Pacific region. The goal of the conference is to bring together policy makers, researchers, practitioners and service providers to advance the use of evidence in practice and policy, and to advance the field of implementation.
Last year, the conference was combined with the Campbell Collaboration’s What Works Global Summit, a hugely successful partnership that led to the decision to rename our flagship event to emphasise the focus on both evidence and implementation.
EIS 2020 will provide a forum for sharing the latest research in evidence synthesis and implementation science and exchanging practical strategies that will best support the effective uptake of evidence in practice and policy. We anticipate more than 500 local and global policy makers, practitioners, organisational leaders, researchers, implementation scientists and funders will attend, and build upon the success of previous conferences in advancing the evidence and implementation movement.
Keep an eye out for our soon-to-be-launched EIS 2020 website, where we will announce key summit themes and keynote speakers.
We look forward to meeting you in Sydney in October next year – stay tuned for further exciting announcements, early bird rates, and call for abstracts!
