Policy makers, practitioners, organisation leaders and funders need access to high quality evidence to create policies, programs and practices that work.
We are experts in accessing, synthesising and analysing high quality research to provide insights into what the evidence says is effective.
These insights can be used in a range of ways – for example, to inform the development of program logics, as a relevant consideration in funding decisions, or as an indicator of where further research and evaluation funding could be targeted.
We have a broad range of approaches and evidence products, depending on particular needs – for example ranging from “Evidence and Gap Maps” (a visual overview of areas that have — and have not yet — been the subject of rigorous research studies) through to full systematic reviews (a more detailed and exhaustive form of literature review), and hybrids in between. We clearly communicate all our findings in a way that is usable and actionable so they can be fed into policy development, program design, practice and strategy and funding decisions.
