Selina conducts both qualitative and quantitative research at CEI, collaborating with local communities, government agencies, NGOs and philanthropic organisations to strengthen preventive and problem-oriented initiatives.
Selina is passionate about child and youth mental health, and believes strongly in involving children in decisions that affect them – because they know best what they need. Her master’s research explored the experiences of young people denied access to mental health care in the public system. Selina also has experience working with older adults, with a focus on reducing loneliness and promoting physical activity.
Selina brings strong technical skills to her work, and is committed to improving workflows through automation and digital tools. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Lifestyle Change and Public Health, and a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Health Research from the University of Oslo.
