Interview: CEI Executive Director Dr Robyn Mildon with Alliance for Useful Evidence on ‘Setting up an Evidence Centre’

The Alliance for Useful Evidence, a network that champions the smarter use of evidence in social policy and practice, has produced a video interview with Dr Robyn Mildon, Executive Director at the Centre for Evidence and Implementation in Australia, and Dr Ruth Stewart, Director of the Africa Centre for Evidence in South Africa.

The interview follows the publication of the Alliance for Useful Evidence report 'A Practical Guide for Establishing an Evidence Centre' and focuses on how to create and grow an evidence-centred organisation. Consideration is given to how you can make a difference on the ground using research and evidence and the best way to set up an institution that is sustainable and influential.

Over the last 10 years there has been a growth in evidence centres funded by national governments, foundations, philanthropists and others. The interview aims to share the lessons of evidence intermediary institutions. You can watch the interview here.
