CEI and Monash University hosted the third of the pre-Summit webinars in the Evidence and Implementation Summit 2021 Virtual Series with leaders from the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL).
In 2019 J-PAL leaders won The Nobel Prize in Economics. The organisation is recognised as one of the world's foremost research institutions working to reduce global poverty by providing policymakers with clear evidence around what works.
Shobhini Mukerji, Executive Director at J-PAL South Asia and Anna Kilpatrick, Deputy Executive Director at J-PAL Africa, joined CEI's Managing Director Mary Abdo to discuss 'Perspectives on robust evidence and effective implementation from the global South.' The webinar offered lessons for evidence and implementation from some of the world's innovation powerhouses in South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa.
