CEI Director Dr Cheryl Seah honoured with SUSS Award For Teaching Excellence

The Singapore University of Social Sciences conferred the SUSS Award For Teaching Excellence 2022 - Honourable Mention to Cheryl Seah, PhD, CEI Director.

Cheryl is a developmental psychologist and a researcher with expertise in the area of child development, childhood disorders, mental health, early intervention for children and families, and implementation science.  She won the award based on her performance in the design and facilitation of undergraduate and post-graduate modules for early childhood educators - Valuing Diversity, Case-based child study and interventions. These modules aim to build up their knowledge and skills in inclusive practices within the mainstream preschools, where children with special needs can be better supported. 

Apart from SUSS, Dr Seah teaches Implementation Science at the Behavioural and Implementation Science Interventions (BISI) in the department of medicine at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
